Yard Renovation: Day 4

Not quite as exciting a day today, but still progress.

This was last night after the guys left. Ben had fun picking up rocks and tossing them in the wheelbarrow.

Then today they finished moving the electric and gas lines. Around mid-day the yard looked like an archeology dig - I expected them to find dinosaur bones!

But by the time they left most everything was filled back in.

Still a bit of a trench where the electric and gas lines are - waiting for the fountain and fireplace installation.

It is looking very exciting. Andy and I will have to come visit one day and see the renovations!!! :)

Spencer would have sat there for hours also watching the trucks. Love it!

They will be moving sprinkler pipes, right? Today I spent a couple of hours digging grass out away from sprinkler heads. It's tricky to find them when they are so buried under the grass that all you can find is a very wet spot. I had about five that were that deep. Guess it's because we haven't used them yet this year and the rain has been encouraging the lawn to get thick.

I'm confused, are you keeping the fountain and the fireplace? An earlier post made it sound like you were taking them out.
