Easter Weekend Excitement!

We had our entire families (both Doug's and mine) visiting over Easter weekend, with the exception of one brother on a mission, and one who had to stay home for work/school. We had SO MUCH FUN!!!

Ben loved the attention, or at least mom loved having people holding Ben all weekend long ;). He got to meet both his Grandpas for the first time and play with his cousins. We went to Sea World, the beach twice, out for dinner, in for dinner, and had a royal good time. We miss being so far from family and hope we can see everyone again as soon as possible! Love you!!

Work work work

I resigned from my position at work yesterday in order to stay home and care for our baby. It has always been a goal of mine to stay home and I feel very lucky to be able to do it. My sweet husband has prepared himself since he entered school to be able to provide for his family and enable his wife (lucky me!) to stay home with our children. I'm so very thankful for him!

That said, it was harder to turn in my badge than I thought it would be. I found myself feeling a little blue and even a bit unmotivated yesterday. It's easy to lose sight of the work I'm doing at home when my daily to-do list only includes housework (today is vacuum day...). I suppose things will just get busier as Ben grows and as we add more children to our family, but for now I'm looking for things to occupy my mind. Any tips from the other moms out there?

Of course, it's hard to feel bad when I get to look at this face every day!
