Bryan Grant Espenschied

Bryan joined our family on Friday, February 4 at 8:38 pm weighing in at a whopping 10 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long. We were only at the hospital for about 3 hours before he was born. I gave birth with no epidural. It was a wonderful experience and we love having this new spirit in our home!

Here he comes!

We're at the hospital. Kathy is doing great.  She is calm and confident. 

I'll post updates to our baby  blog when there is news and opportunity.

Yep, still waiting

We're 5 days over due now, and still waiting for our little dude to make his appearance. But I'm trying to stay in a positive frame of mind and focus on the well being of our little baby boy.

Grandma is still here and fabulous to have around. She sewed an adorable little baby blanket that I'd bought the fabric for but not gotten around to making and takes Ben on walks every day. Ben adores her and it's great to see them together.

We've got a non-stress test and fluid level check (sounds like I'm taking my car to the shop ;) this morning to make sure baby is still happy inside. And so, we continue to wait...patiently...
